  With Government permission received on April 29, 2013, and with hopes of beginning the University in a small way in 2014, it is worthwhile to understand how we got to this point. This short write-up is not a detailed history of the events leading to the founding of the university. Fr. Adam Pereira, CSC, has assembled such an outline. This rather is a picture of the different influences that have brought us this far. Very early in the history of the educational ministry of Holy Cross Fathers in Bangladesh, there was a talk of starting a University. The Notre Dame College was then staffed almost exclusively by expatriate missionaries who came with advanced degrees in hand to teach. The College began in 1949 at the Intermediate level and in the years to the Liberation War (1971) was small in size and well-staffed with such missionaries.

  Newly started private univercity in dhaka. Notre Dame University giving excellent quality education for theirs students. But semester fees higher than comparing manu reputed private university. This univercity located beside of Motijheel bus stop.

  NDC is a higher secondary school as well as a degree college affiliated to the National University. It is situated in Dhaka, Bangladesh and is administrated by the Congregation of Holy Cross, Society of Priests. (In the Indian subcontinent, as in the UK, higher secondary schools, comprising the 11th and 12th year of education, are often referred to as 'colleges'). The college also offers three-year degree program, Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Pass Course) and Bachelor of Social Sciences (B.S.S. Pass Course). In 2009 the institution celebrated its 60th anniversary. this is the most leading college in dhaka

  Higher student fees. Not well reputed. But provides quality education and the new VC is really dedicated for the betterment of the students as well as for the improvement of the condition of the university.
