The staff is non-courteous. Beware of the quality of goods you are buying from this place. They are overly priced and most of the time you will get older stocks. Just double check the items before you actually pay for it. Had a very bad experience with hand gloves I bought for mu 3 yr old son. It was all torn and rugged piece which i noticed only when i opened the pack at home. But they denied to take it back or replace it. So i donated it back to the store and walked off. So please be careful at this place.

Please please please refrain from buying any product from The Babyshop, Gulshan. One, they are priced exorbitantly - you can buy the same products for less at Astorian, Artisan, Kids & Moms or Gulshan 1. Secondly, the staff at the store give you defective products which they already know about. I decided to make everyone aware of their malacious intentions after they gave me a defective product for the second time. The first time I spent a bomb when I bought a so-called imported US Polo t-shirt from them for my 3yr old son; which turned to rags after the first wash. Mind you, I had hand washed the t-shirt inside out according to the instructions on the tag. When I took the issue to them they barely heard me and said this could happen and weren't suprised at all, which basically means they knew about the quality of the product sold. Anyways, this time I paid a trip to them again and bought a few stuff, among them being a pair of boxing gloves for my little one. It was wrapped in a petty plastic bag with the cuff hidden under the tag. Well, we reached home and the little one nearly ripped the plastic apart in excitement of his new toy. When we took the product out we realised that the product was defective and torn. It was unusable and was tearing itself with the slightest move. I decided to take it back to them for a replacement the next day. This time I was in for rude shock. My son entered the shop and in his childish aura told them that they had given him a defective pair... they acted ignorant as if they didn't know if I ever bought anything from them and asked me to produce a product receipt... just imagine I had bought the product the previous night!!! And while I was giving them the receipt, a lady in the staff took my 3 yr old to a corner and started scolding him badly .... coz there were customers in the store and he had spoken about a defective product. Well, I called my son and started looking at other products, while they huddled together for a discussion. This is when I overheard the man at sales counter discussing with his colleague how he thought we would not be able to detect a defective pair and come back so soon for a replacement. Now that we had what were they supposed to do. After a while the lady staff came up to me and assured me that they were working to solve the issue while the guy went up to make a phone call. After a few mintues he returned only to tell me that they would not be able to replace the product back since the plastic was torn.... please let me make it very clear here that the product was packed not in any box but a petty plastic bag..which was easily replaceable... the tag was intact. Why will you need a plastic bag if the product was defective.... this also means they wanted to sell it off as a new product after replacement. I insited that they can replace my product and keep the new plastic with them..but they blankly refused. I was totally infuriated since I did not want the defective product back... but all in vain. They were so unconcerned and rude that it totally put me off. I asked them to keep the product for themselves and walked out of the store. So, please save yourself from a similar harassment and avoid going to The Babyshop. There are many alternatives to them and it is the only way we can stop their malacious activities. Thank you dor reading. Please share and spread the word.
