  Today I had to go to the National Bank Limited, Rajgonj, Comilla Branch because my uncle sent me some remittance from USA. He had sent me through quick pay. I have entered the branch at 11 am. But the officer in charge there named Md. Moshiur Rahman was doing his works very slowly. Suddenly, his computer didn't work properly. Actually, it was not the problem of the computer. The officer had a very little idea about the remittance section although he had been there for his job. He had logged in from two computers as the website wasn't functioning properly. I had to wait for one hour as he didn't find the problem of the computer. A hassle situation for me indeed. After one hour I have the calling. I sat in front of him. He asked me to show my identity papers. I showed my university identity card. But, he rejected that. He told me to bring my chairman certificate or birth certificate. How ridiculous! My uncle sent me money through same process before but never I had been such a problem. Every time I was working fine with my University Identity Card. But, this officer wanted to harass me as he told me to bring my birth certificate. How pathetic! Although, I have been issued my id card by the senior officer of that branch. He cordially received me and give me the assurance of that money. Suddenly, I have noticed there is no photocopy machine in that branch! How can a big and crowdy branch being running without a photocopy machine!! Just a third class person (Moshiur Rahman, Remittance section, NBL, Comilla Branch) offered such an important role to play in that branch. Really need to change this person from this section if the bank wants to maintain its good reputation. A bad day and bad experience for me. Note that, I have been successfully withdrawn my money with my university id card as that senior officer told me, " yes! you can do it by your university id card. No problem"
